Autor

Slow travel, by bicycle or on foot, is Ellen's preferred way to explore the world. She's a novelist, essayist, Swiss wine specialist and was, for many years, an international news journalist and publisher, all the while cycling and walking through several countries for travel and wine publications. She is the author of three previous books: an English style guide, an account of her cycling travels in China, and Vineglorious! Switzerland's Wondrous World of Wines. Ellen, who is Swiss, lives in the Alps; her home overlooks mountains, lakes and rivers and, of course, vineyards.
